Week 3 – I Am Magnetic

glue stickWhen I was a kid, we had the saying, “I’m rubber, you’re glue. Everything you say bounces off me and sticks to you.

I’m glue. My subby is glue. Everything I say sticks like glue… and I am saying a lot of cool stuff.

3 times a day, minimum… I do my readings with ENTHUSIASM. And my subby is taking over the controls. That’s a good thing. I am so grateful for the opportunity to take this class again and join forces with so many awesome people!

I am really resonating with my definite major purpose and all the daily readings are helping me stay at peace. Life is good. I’ve always known that life is good… but it has never been as clear as it is today. And tomorrow will be even better.

Since the work I do on myself through the Master Key Mastermind Alliance is cumulative… I am building a foundation for my new life that is built of the finest stone imaginable.

It’s late and I really didn’t feel like writing a blog, so this one is going to be short.

I am magnetic… and I attract all that my heart desires.

I do this by changing my habits, one reading… one exercise at a time.

Week 14 – Watch a Movie

Not just any movie, we were asked to watch one of four movies:

    October Sky
    Door to Door
    Cool Runnings

Door to Door

I found Door to Door in 7 parts on youtube and my husband and I watched it together.

I explained to him that we were looking for four things:

    Definite Major Purpose
    Positive Mental attitude
    Personal Pivotal Needs
    Plan of Action
a definite plan, expressed in continuous action

When we were done watching the movie we discussed what we saw in the movie. Really, each one of these things was in that movie. Bill Porter knew what he wanted, he stayed positive and he went after what he wanted. Nothing could stop him. He was determined, persistent and patient.

It was truly inspiring and well worth watching. Great movie and full of lessons. Patience and persistence are the most prominent… tons of other little tidbits sprinkled throughout the movie.

October Sky

We decided to watch another movie. I know, the assignment was to watch one movie… but we found October Sky for free on Netflix movies to watch Instantly and we decided to watch it.

Same things to look for as the other movie… and like the other movie, this movie had all of those things. Homer Hickam was definitely persistant. He knew what he wanted and he went after it. He had his own personal needs… he knew what they were and he stayed aligned with his values.

This is a great movie for every child in the world to see. Too often children (and adults) give up on their dreams and decide to do something because they have to and not because it is their dream.

Follow your dreams… that is the real lesson.

I have one more video to share. This is one of my favorites… and I hope you enjoy it too. Please comment below and let me know what you think of it!

Growing, Growing, Gone! (Week 6)

I’m growing… and some days I feel like I’m gone.

The Press Release was the toughest assignment yet. I wrote and I re-wrote. Much like my Definite Major Purpose (DMP). It is difficult for me to get it exactly right. And I want it to be exactly what I want… so that I can get the life I want.

We only have one life to live. Since we are in complete control of what happens in our own life… shouldn’t we be sure we know what we want?
